The way the scanning in the self service area is setup is designed poorly because some items have a scan code on them, I.e., lettuce, avocado's etc. that can't be scanned. The "Advisor" comes over pissed off at the customer snapping, "YOU CAN'T SCAN THAT BARCODE, IT'S FROM THE MANUFACTURER!!". How about a little help without the attitude! Checkout is not intuitive here either. Tap Finish, tap pay, reads your card, then asks you to pay again? Donation ask on every purchase.. Will go to Wegmans
