As technology advances, physical IDs will likely become obsolete in the future.

I first tried the regular checkout but, again as usual, the person working there was moving so slowly I actually thought they were trolling. I went to the self-checkout where the person supposedly helping had his face buried in his cell phone so deeply he could barely be bothered to come over when I called him to clear up broccoli confusion ... is it "regular broccoli" or "broccoli"? He just said he had no idea, punched a key, and turned back to his phone. The same person was waiting at the checkout when I left. It really is like this every time I go there, which is not very often any more. It's also expensive and poorly set out. I have it two stars because it's in a good location -- which is unfortunate because we could get an actually good grocery store there if they would move out.
