  As a critic who professionally rates places I came here to relax after a long day. The atmosphere is very relaxing inside the building and my whole experience was very easy going. I had talked to a employee named “David” over the phone and he had made the process of ordering very easy. When I asked for specials he informed me of them right away. When I came in he greeted me and simply asked me to sign a receipt. Once I did that he brought me my food and it was done at that. The food was phenomenal and I loved their pizza. I can’t wait to return to try more. Thank you Paisanos.

  The young workers are very nice and the speed of service was very suprising. The food was also very high quality. I plan on coming here again

  Ever since moving to this area, I've been coming to Paisano's for lunch once a week to get a small pizza. The pizza is always cooked the same way, and well. The ratio of sauce to cheese is great. The crust is flavorful and fluffy enough that I want to eat it all! The real stand-out here, though, is the people. For most of my visits over the last months, Mylea has been the one on the register. She's such a pleasant person to talk to, and so kind and considerate. I even got to meet the owner J.J., and he was running the register for a while. He's also a super-nice guy, and clearly cares about how his store is run. Thanks for all the great pizza, and the delightful conversations. Let me know when you finally try making sourdough, Mylea!

  I came there today to pick up an ALREADY PAID order which was new to me and my first time coming to this restaurant. The two employees that were working there in the front cashier register didn't want to seem to let a new customer like me know and understand their restaurant policy for signing their receipt with the total amount and my signature. This older looking employee wearing glasses who seemed to look like the OWNER was behaving extremely nefarious and unprofessional with his job and automatically making threats and making up false accusations stating that I was yelling which I wasn't and instead of reasoning with me being a new customer. This older impudent rude hostile employee (OWNER) first started making threats by saying "Can I have MY food back!" referring to taking our already paid food back if the receipt wasn't signed. Also pointing at security camera in his restaurant as a form of intimidation but in reality, he was documenting his own unprofessionalism. This older employee was also threatening to call the police which is extreme overreaction just for me not understanding the policy of signing the receipt of an already paid online order. When I apologized to him he said "I don't accept your apology I want you to leave MY restaurant." That being said I am never coming back to this Paisano's Pizza location and today was my Birthday and I was picking up an already paid order meant as a Birthday dinner gift that my sister had ordered for me online for my birthday. Thanks to that vile older looking male employee my mood on my Birthday was totally ruined because of his treatment towards me. The misuse of police threats is under Virginia Code § 18.2-461, it is illegal to intentionally give a false report to law enforcement. Threatening to call the police for a "disturbance" that did not occur (like false accusations of me yelling) is a form of intimidation. While this older employee has the authority to enforce store policy, he does not have the right to harass me or use the threat of police as a weapon for a non-criminal disagreement. Falsely claims of me yelling to justify his behavior, this is a serious internal conduct issue. Under the Virginia Consumer Protection Act, businesses are expected to maintain fair and ethical standards in their dealings with the public. In Virginia, refusing to sign a store receipt for a prepaid order is not a crime. Police typically only get involved in restaurant disputes for actual theft ("dine and dash") or physical disturbances. This older looking employee who I seem to think that he is the OWNER of this Paisano's Pizza location at Burke Centre Parkway was also discriminating me and treating other customers with a friendly manner while they were picking up their already paid orders just as I was. The fact of his immature degrading behavior waving a receipt at a person's face in a belittling way is incredibly demeaning and unprofessional. Others claim that their service is great and that they are nice to certain customers, but not to all customers.
