The service is very slow. Ordered drinks and it took a very long time to get them. It took over 30 mins to get the drinks and bar was not busy. When steaks did come one was overcooked/ burnt that was served flipped to attempt to hide this . The replaced steak was returned raw inside . At this point was so disappointed that advised nevermind I no longer wanted it. Manager was apologetic and did issue a small credit. I do not feel the small credit WASN'T enough to have a meal broken up because our sides getting cold while waiting for replacement steak and interrupting our dining experience while only one of us could eat and the other waited. This is not the Morton quality im used to and was very disappointed
Celebrating a birthday. Bar bites were better than my meal. I had the chicken "Oscar style" and they chopped asparagus between. Wasn't that tasty at all. The Brussels sprouts and mini crab cakes were the best

Absolutely wonderful experience, from beginning to end, from food to service. My wife and I went there to celebrate Valentines, without going for the Valentine’s preset dinner (ala carte). We made reservations, and upon arriving were seated immediately. There’s a very nice ambiance, where lighting is a little low, but in just the right way, and the noise level is very good. You can have a conversation and not be overwhelmed by the rest of the restaurant. We started off with mocktails, which were perfect. Not too sweet. We then ordered appetizers, getting the tuna tar tar and Nueske bacon steak (a wonderfully tender, thick, smoked bacon). For my main I had the 7 oz wagyu filet w garlic butter and Gouda au gratin potatoes. My wife went for the Morton’s Oscar, with a side of broccolini. Everything was cooked perfectly. We capped off the evening with a crème brûlée and key lime pie. And the house bread was perfect, with a wonderful soft interior and just the right amount of crust. The service was impeccable. Because I live a block away I walked and don’t know if they validate parking, but there is a garage next door.
Every Morton's we've been to has been an excellent experience. This location, however, was the opposite.
I ordered a steak cooked medium. It came out and was medium rare, trending more toward rare. I told our server and he offered to put it back on the grill. I didn't want that--I wanted a fresh steak because if I'm paying $60 for a steak, I want it right the first time--and told him thank you, but never mind and put the steak off to the side.
A manager came over after being told what happened and offered a new steak.
When they brought the steak, it was rare. It was less cooked than the first one. At that point, I told them I didn't want a steak anymore.
My husband's steak was oversalted, but he scraped off the top as best he could and ate it.
The sides we ordered were creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. They're usually great there, but at this location, they were meh at best.
On a positive note, the service was great!
They only charged us for my husband's steak to make up for the bad experience with my own steak.
I don't know if this was an off night for them--it was a Saturday night--or what, but I hope they do better.
I chose Morton's for my birthday dinner with 6 friends thanks to a viral video marketing a special "adult happy meal" featuring wagyu burgers and champagne. When a manager called to confirm my reservation, I triple checked that the special was being offered, and the worker confirmed it was being offered, but that because I was not sitting in the bar area, I wouldn't be able to order it. When I inquired why - because sitting in the bar was not part of any of the advertising which feels deceitful at best - he said that I was right, it is not properly noted in the viral videos where this special was being advertised, and to bring it up with my waiter when I came in to the restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant and were seated next to a drafty door with a large party that kept opening and closing. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, but Washington, DC and the greater DMV area is experiencing single digit temperatures, which means every single time the door opened, a gust of cold air blew right onto our table. We asked multiple times to please keep the door shut before having to go shut it ourselves, and the wait staff finally took note and made sure it stayed shut. Our waiter, Jimmy, came to the table and I can only describe him as cantankerous. It seemed every single thing we asked and every order was a burden. The first example was that we were trying to decide on a bottle of wine to split for the table and when we didn't choose the special (a $100 Napa Cab - sorry that bottle is $35 at Total Wine, we will pass) he was so flippant trying to answer questions. When we requested a sommelier, Jimmy said he could do it, but when we asked about two separate bottles, he told us that was beyond his knowledge and wasn't able to offer any insight, only asking someone else at the table to read off the SKU from the menu so he could look it up. Knowing this, I already knew asking about the wagyu burger special was going to be an issue, but I asked anyway since the person who called me on the phone told me to and sure enough - Jimmy went off about how I was absolutely not getting that, management tried it and it was a mess, and I could go sit at the bar by myself if I wanted that. Worth noting, the bar was full so even if I wanted to go sit by myself and eat my birthday dinner, that wasn't an option. At this point, we were all ready to leave, but a friend at the table got up to go speak to the manager, who went out of their way to make sure to let us know it was fine for me to get the burgers. When Jimmy came back, he said "I guess we are doing the special for you." Like yes, Jimmy, you are, why were you so insistent on making this all so difficult? The meal was fine. Our bill was well over $1,000 for 7 people, but it was a $100 experience - and that's being generous.
