  I've been a regular at Mehran for about a year and am a big fan of the boneless chicken biryani. The rice is always light and fragrant, and the chicken is always moist and fully cooked. Delicious with a side of fresh naan and aloo saag. Everything is served by a warm, friendly staff. Highly recommended!

  Was here today for lunch and it was an awful experience. The restaurant itself was slow and there were only a few other tables occupied other than ours but the food took forever. There was a couple seated before us who told us they had already been waiting 40 minutes. The staff said they were prioritizing online orders. When the food finally did arrive, it was pretty gross. We ordered halwa puri (which for some odd reason was served with yogurt - have never seen that before). The puris were terrible and seemed like old roti. The halwa was also disgusting and definitely seemed old and not fresh. The chai was decent but they ran out of tea bags and we had to wait some time for that too. Definitely avoid this place! Not worth it at all.

  Nice small restaurant. The service was a bit slow as I arrived between 11:30 and 12:00, and the chef was still preparing the food. However, the staff member was very nice and friendly. The biryani was the best I’ve tasted in a long time—lavish portion size and a perfect blend of spices.

  We ordered catering for a party from the Mehran location in Arlington. We opted to do pickup, and the restaurant had the order ready promptly on time. They also had everything packaged very carefully so there was no spillage and they helped us load everything in the car. However, the most important thing is that the food was delicious and everyone at the event enjoyed it and complimented it. We had biryani, haleem, kabobs, chicken karahi and everything was fresh and full of flavor.

  The restaurant is significantly overpriced considering the poor quality of the food. The dishes lacked flavor and were excessively oily and spicy, making them difficult to enjoy. I left most of my meal unfinished as it simply did not meet even basic expectations. The overall hygiene and presentation were also disappointing. Water was served in plastic glasses, and the dining area appeared unclean and poorly maintained. Additionally, the restaurant offered little to no privacy, which made the dining experience uncomfortable. The place was nearly empty during my visit, and I now understand why. Unfortunately, this establishment seems more focused on taking advantage of customers than providing good service or quality food. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially for families or groups of friends.
