- AFAmanda Fabray6 days ago1.0I recently moved to this area from Falls Church and I’d frequent the Giant there and I have to say, that one was much better…..my favorite thing to do was to get a fresh chicken or tenders for my lunch breaks…this giant still has chicken from 8 AM at 12:30!!…I’m often eating stale chicken for lunch and it’s quite unpleasant…..whoever is in charge should consider that most people come in during that lunch time and do not want chicken from that early. I’ve come once in the evening and the chicken was fresh and tasted way better, it’d be nice to have this during that crucial lunch hour.

I hate to punish Giant, since it's actually an FDIC lot (so they can't fire the towing company). I don't see this changing anytime soon, though, because the DMV next door doesn't have free parking. I'll pay a little extra for my groceries from now on by going to the Harris Teeter on Glebe. This Giant is just too risky.

They got three cars just today, all three of which were of paying customers who were actively shopping inside Giant at the time- those victims are all out at least $150 plus however much it cost them to uber to the tow yard, not to mention hours of their time and the loss of whatever cold groceries they just bought. Advanced Towing are criminals and Giant is COMPLICIT.

Almost every single staff member I have interacted with has been unpleasant or rude. I actively avoid having to check out with a cashier because of how negative the experience is, yet the self-checkout is constantly faulty and takes forever to use with the amount of times an employee has to come and manually approve items that I didn’t put in the “bagging area” fast enough. Many employees seriously lack basic manners and courtesy to the point I prefer walking a mile to the Trader Joe’s where customer service isn’t even a question. If you have the choice and want to have basic pleasant human interaction while shopping, avoid this place.
