Whatever the problem was, it was clear that it wouldn't be fixed easily or quickly (i.e., food would cold by the time I could get my drink). I left without food or refund. I've contacted them twice about a refund but they won't even acknowledge my complaints or me.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
