Chicken pita was soaked through with the chicken juice, to the point where it was basically inedible. Soaked through the bag. The worker did not care enough to properly drain the chicken.
And yet somehow the chicken was still dry.
Avoid.

Don’t go here, I asked for falafel and she put chicken. When I said no chicken, she started arguing and asked why. It’s a religious thing, but she continued fighting with me.

Where do I even start? It takes a lot for me to write a negative review but my God this 4 minute experience was wild.
Employees speak no English. Communicating with them about the food is literally impossible. I had to repeat each of my selections more than 5 times. I’ve never been to Cava before so I was looking at the selections printed on the glass for MAYBE 20 seconds and the lady kept huffing. She was very impatient. I felt incredibly rushed for no reason. I was the ONLY person in line.
When I asked about the ingredients in their falafel because everyone does it different they kept saying “veggie”. No shit it’s veggies. It’s falafel. I clarified and asked if it had flour, gluten in it. I have Celiac and all I was asking is if they use flour in their falafel. They had no idea what I was saying. They stared at me like I had 12 heads. So, out of caution I said “NO” to the falafel, and the lady put it on anyway. She started talking to another lady in Spanish, complaining about my selections and my ONE question.
I said MULTIPLE times to take off the falafel and she refused saying something to the effect of “I had to get it as it was a part of “build your own” bowl. And it was veggie”. I could be wrong though, because she only knew 4 English words and didn’t speak Spanish to me, just to the other rude lady.
Everyone at this location is rude, stuck up, incompetent, and have no idea what they are doing. I ended up looking at Cava’s website after getting to my gate to find out there IS gluten in the falafel, so I was forced to remove everything around it.
Avoid this place like the plague. This location needs to be shut down or a full re-staff needs to be done.
Additionally, the portion size was also ridiculous. I paid $15 for a half filled bowl. And to be honest it was pretty tasteless. The only thing I tasted was the spice from the harissa.
After looking at the MANY negative reviews I am appalled management has not stepped in. And as trivial as some may find my and others negative reviews, the bottom line is that customer service should ALWAYS be a priority.
Edit 3 hours later; I have been violently ill. Avoid this place at all costs.
