  We had an amazing experience at Ambar Arlington, and a huge part of that was thanks to Ana. She was attentive without being overbearing, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and made thoughtful recommendations that we genuinely loved. What stood out most was how intentional she was with timing and service everything felt seamless and well-paced, even during a busy shift. She checked in at the right moments, made sure we had everything we needed, and brought a level of professionalism that elevated the entire experience. It’s clear she takes pride in what she does, and it shows. If you’re dining here, ask for Ana you’ll be in great hands. She absolutely deserves recognition from management.

  I am honestly surprised I have not been here sooner. I went to the Clarendon location for dinner and had an amazing experience. They offer an all you can eat menu for dinner, and everything we tried was delicious. The food came out quickly tapas style, which made it easy to try a variety of dishes. The service was excellent, the ambiance was great, and the decor was very cute. The price was also incredible for the quality and amount of food you get. We were a party of two and definitely overstuffed ourselves trying everything, so I think coming with three or four people would be the perfect amount to sample even more. It also has disability access, and although the bathroom is in the basement, they do have an elevator to go down. Parking is paid street parking, which can be a little difficult to find, and you may have to walk a bit. There is also a paid parking lot nearby, which is convenient. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back.

  I had a really great experience at Ambar Balkan Cuisine. The food was amazing, well seasoned and balanced, and everything we tried felt fresh and flavorful. I loved being able to try different small plates, it made the whole experience more fun. The way the dishes were plated was really pretty and made the food even more enjoyable. The space was clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive, which made it even better. The price is definitely worth it because you get more than what you pay for. I would definitely come back again.

  I recently had dinner at Ambar, and it was an amazing experience of Balkan cuisine. The concept of unlimited small plates is perfect because you get to try a variety of traditional dishes, and every single one we ordered was delicious and well-prepared. What really made our visit special was our server, Ana.She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She gave us great recommendations and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Her positive energy and professionalism truly elevated our dining experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and lively, making it a great place for both casual dinners and special occasions. I highly recommend Ambar if you want to explore Balkan flavors, and if you’re lucky to have Anada as your server, you’ll be in great hands!

  We had a great experience with the delicious food, wonderful staff, and warm, welcoming environment. I’d been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got around to it and was not disappointed. Everything was great. Our server was very helpful as well and I appreciate her time. My wife and I started with the urbenes, which was very good, and the white bean hummus, which was decent (not the best but decent). For our main meal I had the pork belly stuffed sour cabbage and found it absolutely delicious, along with a delicious bowl of veal soup. A real keeper. My wife tried the grilled trout and raved about it. She doesn’t usually get trout but absolutely loved it. We chased our food down with a carrot ginger spritz and a mango mule, both of which were delicious.
