  I am writing to report an issue I experienced at your McDonald’s location on Duke Street in Alexandria, VA during an Uber Eats delivery. On March 30, 2026, I received a delivery request at approximately 1:47 AM EST and arrived at the location around 1:52 AM. Upon arrival, I attempted to use the drive-thru speaker but received no response. I then proceeded to the second window, where an employee was present. Unfortunately, instead of communicating with me or providing any information about the order, the employee pointed to her wrist and motioned for me to leave, without offering any explanation or assistance. Due to the lack of communication and inability to obtain the order, I was forced to cancel the delivery, resulting in a loss of approximately $35 in potential earnings. I do have a screenshot of my location and the cancellation timestamp available as supporting documentation. I respectfully ask that this matter be addressed, particularly regarding staff communication and professionalism when interacting with delivery drivers. Clear communication is essential to ensure efficient service for both customers and delivery partners. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Sincerely, Keisha C P.S. Attached is proof confirming that I was present at the location, even though the order was ultimately canceled. If you review your camera footage from that time, you should be able to see both the employee and our attempts to get her attention. There was also a white van outside, which appeared to be waiting for the employee, possibly indicating she was preparing to leave or finish her shift. While I understand that staff may be closing or wrapping up duties, that does not excuse the lack of communication or the dismissive behavior I experienced. A brief explanation or acknowledgment would have been appreciated.
