  Havana 151 is a Cuban supper club located on the second floor of The Loft at Lena's in Alexandria, Virginia. It delivers speakeasy vibes with dim lighting, Latin music you can dance to, vibrant art, and great food/drinks. I dined during “Wine Down Wednesday” where you can get 1/2 off a full bottle of wine that you can take home to finish. Mario was my bartender and he was very attentive and made great recommendations as a first time guest. Though I didn’t order the wine, I fully enjoyed my drink and food selections. The mango salsa, birra tacos (with consommé), and coconut rum cake were the highlights for me.   Food and atmosphere were incredible with the interior design of the establishment. I felt like I was in a Miami. However, waitress Victoria, made me feel uncomfortable with her being judgmental and criticizing everything we attempted ordered and telling me to “elevate” myself. Made me want to leave the restaurant immediately instead of taking in how gorgeous the restaurant is.

  TERRIBLE!!!. Let me start saying the restaurant was advertised as a Cuban restaurant on google ,but when we arrived, the menu was entirely Italian. Even then, the pasta was extremely thick and poorly prepared. They claimed it was house-made, but it tasted very basic and overly heavy. I had a really disappointing experience at this place. Our waiter, David, seemed totally lost—he had no idea what to recommend or even describe, and it felt like he didn’t know the menu at all. We order a simple proseco and a mango martini and it took more than 30 min to bringing it and he never come back to offered another round; the glasses were just sitting there empty. On top of that, the food was just not good. We ordered our steaks well-done, and none of them came out that way, including the kids’ meals. What really made the experience unacceptable was the wait time: it took two and a half hours to receive just two main dishes and one appetizer. Overall, it was a frustrating and very poor dining experience. DO NOT EXPEND YOUR MONEY OR TIME AT THIS RESTAURANT!!!!

  Cuban Approved!! Vibes were very much old fashioned cuban and the food and drinks were amazing. It was like entering a whole new era from an elevator. Marcella and management team were exceptional!

  This is my second time and as I remembered the food is awful. Service is amazing 10/10. My penne alla vodka just tasted like regular pasta sauce. The pizza is so overrated, no food what so ever. We also got a Cesar, but pretty hard to mess that up. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The atmosphere isn’t even all that cute to make up for the bad food
