  Do not do online pick up here. This place is a joke. They have no idea what they’re doing. You will stand around 20 minutes waiting for them to get your order

  I normally don’t visit Giants but after January 11th at around 9:50 pm, I won’t be back. My friend & I headed into the store for 1 item in the alcohol section. We went to the left side of the store & realized the alcohol wasn’t in the back of the store so we began to walk to the front & a security guard began to follow us. We then found the alcohol section & spent about 3 mins looking for the item we wanted & after we realized we weren’t able to find it, we went towards the front of the alcohol section & picked up something else. Walking towards the front, I noticed the security guard began to watch & stand in front of the alcohol like we planning to steal. & I told my friend, that he was watching us. As we picked up our 1 item, we began to walk through the produce. That’s when the security guard began to follow us again for no reason, other than we were 2 African American girls. So my friend stopped to ask him if “he was okay?” or “if there was a problem” This guy proceeded to fake look at the produce, like no you got caught & now you tryna act like you weren’t following us. He even followed us to self checkout…where he was continuing to make eye contact with my friend & to see if we PAID FOR OUR ONE ITEM. As we were paying for it the employee with the name “Shannah” began to look at my ID like it was fake, which was also very weird. This was a terrible & racist experience. After exiting the store, I called the customer service & let them know & the lady on the phone clearly seemed not to care.

  I’ve been going to this Giant for the past 10 years, but unfortunately have had to stop going because of bad treatment I’m constantly being harassed by the security! I’ve never not paid for my goods so to have this man follow me and then accost me I’m the parking lot for not returning my cart/wanting to see my receipt is awful. This has happened several times which is why I don’t go! I understand that you need security, but accosting customers for minding their own business is too much. I’m not the only person with this complaint.
