  I recently visited and had a great experience from start to finish. Our host, George, was incredibly kind and welcoming. He greeted us warmly, was very helpful, and personally walked my family to our table, which made us feel taken care of right away. The food was also delicious—everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared. Overall, the service and atmosphere made for a really enjoyable dining experience. I would definitely come back again!

  Alexandria VA. Service S-L-O-W. We sat on the deck for lunch- it was a debate among the staff who would be our server. (There were 5 of us). We did not have reservations but the deck was unfilled at 2:00. I guess they weren’t prepared to handle a five-top. The smash burgers were pitiful. I don’t see the draw at this place, aside from the view. The crab soup was good. $170 (w/tip) for 3 tiny burgers, a blackened fish sandwich, a “lunch box”, one soup, 3 waters, 2 sodas & one “fauxito”.

  Lily was incredible!!! A great conversationalist and kept our water glasses filled and gave great recommendations on food and drink! I came here for a joint birthday celebration and had the best time!❤️ They even gave us a little piece of cake to take home and enjoy❤️❤️ Absolutely coming back for the sizzling mushrooms (and they do come sizzling!), crab dip, and spinach dip (ask for extra bread!). Someone in our party ordered the strip steak and it was made to perfection mmm (of course I snuck a bite! It was my birthday!). We ordered the butterfly pea drink as well which was pricey but it was dinner and a show as they make it table side,,, very interesting (lots of oooo's and aahh's). For dessert we ordered the lava cake, a recommendation made by Lily. She let us know to order 30 minutes early as it takes a while to prepare. To our group of 4 it was a perfectly sized serving! Warm cake with a gooey chocolatey center, topped with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream and sprinkled with crushed toffee. Truly a perfect end to our meal <3. If you're looking for a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion I would plan on making a reservation here, you won't regret it!

  Our server, Michael, was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Although he appeared to be working alongside just one other server, our experience never suffered, we didn’t go with out the entire time. He moved with ease and composure. He never once seemed flustered. His calm, professional presence made the service feel seamless and elevated the overall dining experience.

  I recently dined at Chart House and had a very mixed experience that ultimately fell short due to service. To begin on a positive note, the front-of-house team was excellent. The host staff was welcoming and accommodating, and we were seated at a beautiful window table overlooking the water, exactly as requested. The setting and ambiance were truly one of the highlights of the evening. The food itself was also very enjoyable and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the rest of the experience. From the start, our server seemed disengaged and rushed. After asking if it was our first visit, there was little effort made to guide us through the menu or offer recommendations. Throughout the ordering process, interactions felt abrupt, as though we were inconveniencing him. Once our food arrived—delivered by another staff member—our server did not check back with us. He passed by our table multiple times while attending to neighboring tables but never once asked how our meal was or if we needed anything. Our drinks remained empty for a significant portion of the meal with no offer of refills. The lack of attentiveness continued through the remainder of the evening. Dessert was delivered without any interaction, and the check was presented before we had even finished, again without a single check-in or acknowledgment of our experience. As we were leaving, I shared this feedback with a hostess, and a manager who overheard did apologize, which was appreciated. However, the overall service experience significantly impacted what could have otherwise been a lovely evening. Given the level of hospitality expected from a restaurant of this caliber and location, this was disappointing. While the setting and food have strong potential, the service would need to improve considerably for me to recommend dining here.
