  Big plate for lunch, the menu had a lot options, and I tried the white fish. It tasted ok, specially with the lime touch. I thought the price was a bit high for lunch option.

  The atmosphere was great and the experience went well. The server was nice. The food was decent. A little overpriced. I felt like they tried to makeup for lack of quality with quantity. The arepa was unique and good. The other plate seemed way too basic for the price. It was pretty much a beef stew feel with rice and sides of lettuce, tomato, and onion. Decent place overall, but not good enough to repay the experience for the price We originally went for the sushi that was advertised in their menu they sent out for their advertised grand opening, but was informed they did not serve the sushi. Huge letdown and we felt a little betrayed by the advertising. Maybe don’t advertise the food if you are not going to be serving it.

  I’ve had jalea at other Peruvian restaurants, and it’s usually bursting with flavor crispy, well-seasoned seafood with a bright, spicy salsa. This version really missed the mark. The cream sauce was bland, the seafood needed salt, and the salsa came in tiny to-go containers. I had to keep asking for more just to add some flavor. The chaufa rice was good, and the service was okay, but for the price, the food just didn’t deliver. Also, the music was loud I felt like I had to shout across the table, which isn’t the vibe for a Sunday night dinner. Maybe better for a Friday or Saturday crowd, but it just wasn’t it. He comido jalea en otros restaurantes peruanos y normalmente está llena de sabor: mariscos crujientes, bien sazonados y acompañados de una salsa picante y brillante. Pero esta vez no fue así. La salsa cremosa estaba sosa, los mariscos necesitaban sal y la salsa venía en pequeños envases para llevar. Tuve que seguir pidiendo más solo para darle algo de sabor. El chaufa estaba bueno y el servicio fue aceptable, pero para el precio, la comida simplemente no valió la pena. Además, la música estaba muy alta; sentí que tenía que gritar para hablar con la persona frente a mí, y para ser una cena de domingo, no fue la mejor experiencia. Tal vez el ambiente funcione mejor un viernes o sábado, pero esta vez no fue lo mío.

  Atmosphere was good, good music and really nice place, however and because of the variety of the menu of this restaurant food was mid. We tried the Venezuelan, Peruvian and Colombian options, out of the three the Peruvian options were the best, however it was priced above average. I did have a time dinning at the place, I’d recommend it if you want to have variety so that you try different food options.

  Solo por hecho de que nos dieron agua de máquina ni siquiera de botella y nos cobraron $3.99 sin decirnos nada! Y el recibo no muestra detalladamente los cargos tuvimos que preguntarle a la mesera detalladamente los cargos, porque al momento de pedir no nos los dijo. Casi $10 dos vasos agua. Si hubiese sido honestos por lo Menos pido un jugo! Mala experiencia. En cualquier lugar regalan agua de máquina, hubiese sido por lo menos justo pagar un agua de botella que un agua que no sabemos si filtran o no.
