    I stopped by this Wendy’s around 2:30 p.m. on August 26th. Honestly, I came out of convenience, even though I know better by now, because the service at this location is almost always a gamble. Still, I figured being earlier in the day, I’d get a fair shot at a decent experience. Instead, I paid $21 and got one of the worst ones yet. I ordered two sandwiches and was only handed one. The one I got was obviously hours old—the mayo had started to turn clear, and the only part that was remotely warm was the bottom bun. From my own time working in fast food, I know exactly what that means: it had been sitting under a heat lamp way too long. It was disgusting, and honestly unsafe. I showed it to the shift manager and told her this could seriously make someone sick. Her response? She shrugged, said “sorry,” and shut the window in my face. That was it. No effort to make it right, no concern at all. I don’t expect perfection—I worked in fast food myself, and I know what it’s like behind the counter. But this wasn’t just a mistake. This was negligence. If I had eaten that sandwich, I could have ended up in the hospital. Imagine if it had been someone’s grandmother or someone with a weak immune system. That’s not just bad service—that’s dangerous. At this point, I don’t understand how this location is still operating with how consistently careless the food and service are. I’ll be reporting this to health and safety, because people deserve better than to be served spoiled food with zero accountability.
