I believe I’m complaining about a manger but cannot say for sure… I called to speak to a manger at the store before looking for the franchise owners information. This review is specifically being written to outwardly express my disappointment in basic human decency. I’m aware some restrooms are locked due to homelessness or drug abuse. However if a woman comes in, clearly experiencing excruciating discomfort, and you cross your arms and refused to let her use the restroom. You’re not a decent human, a good employee, or some kind of policy keeper good doer. It was a downpour outside, and I didn’t know the area… so I had to squat outside my car with two strange men covering me to relieve myself before I ruined my pants. Not only am I embarrassed, but offended. I’m a mother to a young baby yet that’s not even important. Denying someone in desperate need to an accessible toilet is unjust. Risking indecent exposure in public because I wasn’t allowed in a restroom is humiliating. After being in customer service for 20 years I felt the right thing was to call and express my frustration to the manager. Yet I was met with more indecency. Appalled, embarrassed, angry, and wildly disappointed in the customer service employees are trained and paid to provide. I worked at a Wendy’s for 3 years. I am not coming from a place of ignorance. This was obviously a very vulnerable situation for me and I would have liked to speak directly to the woman who advertently sent me out to pee in the rain in front of strangers. I hope you find a new job that does not require interaction with the public. Do better. Obviously McDonald’s isn’t hiring based on customer interaction.
