- TTTravlrOct 1, 20251.0I had trouble using my "Adventure Club" card on a recent trip and had to go into each store to get gas. While I was in the stores I noticed several other people were directed into the store due to problems at the pump with their cards. Maverik is promoting a new card called "NITRO" and I suspect it is nothing more than a phishing scam. I tried signing up for it, eventually calling for help, and at every turn they wanted more information and in the end I didn't get the card. And it was very strange that some of the information they already had was linked to my wife, and other people I know, which was not any information I use when signing up for these kinds of things.
