- JHJesse HansenApr 21, 20261.0Yesterday, I visited Krispy Kreme to take advantage of their special promotion. The promotion offered an original glazed dozen for $7.99 between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. I typically visit the Layton location, but I happened to be in the Riverdale area. I opted for the drive-through service to purchase my dozen, but unfortunately, the donuts were not fresh. They had an unpleasant, stale taste and left a thick coating in my mouth, making them unappetizing. I was deeply disappointed with my experience. Furthermore, the employee failed to provide me with a receipt, preventing me from completing a survey to receive my free dozen, which was an inconvenience. It is evident that the donuts were not fresh, as the employee should have been aware of this fact.
- JWJim WhiteApr 16, 20262.0This was a very disappointing visit. Usually when you go to a national chain like Krispy Kreme, you expect a certain level of quality, but that wasn’t the case here. When we arrived, the specialty donut we wanted hadn’t even been made yet because they “hadn’t gotten around to it.” I understand places can be short-staffed, so we moved on and ordered the Oreo donut instead. Unfortunately, what we received looked nothing like what was advertised. The donut was dry, dense, and honestly more like a stale puck, with some crushed Oreo pieces thrown on top. It was a pretty big letdown. We spent about $15 on five donuts and ended up throwing that one away. Definitely not the experience we were expecting.

I have enjoyed since living in the Southeast in the early 70’s they are now overpriced and quality has ruined any further desire after over 55 years. Sorry to see another former great brand self destruct.
