  Holy moly, if you’re gonna read any reviews you better read this one. I came from out of town to eat here, I got the fuji chicken entree i think is what is was called, listen i’m not much of a fuji chicken girl myself but I will never forget this chicken, it was breaded so beautifully and fell apart so perfectly in my mouth. I was just trying a new place by myself as I do, and my server Holly took the best care of me. It felt as though we were best friends, I almost wanted to ask her to sit down and eat with me but I didn’t wanna do too much (though i’m sure she would’ve) My water was always filled and she checked up on me constantly, making sure my food was good.(and oh man it was) The atmosphere was so beautiful and calm, not too busy but not slow, it was the cherry on top of my day, i’ve already been telling everyone about it. Your restaurant is amazing! and so is the service (especially Holly), thanks so much Happy Sumo for taking amazing care of me.

  I just moved here and, while I was looking for apartments, I wanted a sushi place nearby. I'm so very glad this place exists because it's amazing! Very fresh sushi, quick service, friendly staff.

  Elle was solid. Friendly and attentive. Tbh the steak was kinda tough but I’ve eaten at happy sumo a ton and it’s a great. I usually get the teriyaki bowl or Thai Peanut stir fry so I’ll prolly stick with that haha Edamame was also super good

  My grandmother and I Love Happy Sumo! The food and service is unmatched - finding great sushi in Utah can be hard, but not here. We especially love the servers - We adore Kristal. She makes every visit so special. We can’t wait to come back to see her, and enjoy the good.

  This place is so awesome! The food was amazing and the service was absolutely impeccable! Elle was the most attentive and also charismatic waitress I’ve ever had. So much so, that I asked her out to drinks after she was off. That was 5 years ago. Elle is going to be my best man at my wedding tomorrow. All jokes aside wonderful place and wonderful waitress! I can’t recommend it enough!
