We always go to Drafts when we come to Park City. We went last night and the service was awful. We were there for over 2.5 hours, and our service was beyond terrible. Half our party got served their dinner and 45 minutes later the rest of us got our dinner. We had 6 kids with us that have been waiting our entire trip to come order the milkshakes and 40 minutes after we ordered them they were brought to the table, and looked nothing like the picture on the menu (or the milkshakes we have had in the past there). No sprinkles, no chocolate drizzle, nothing special about them at all. Then we got our bill and the 20% was already added, even though our party only had 4 adults. Had I not looked at the itemized bill I would have missed that, as the girl brought our bill and it had a total and then a line for the tip-and a "tip calculator" at the bottom, which makes it look like the tip hadn't already been added, when in fact it already was. I feel like that was very misleading. My nephew ordered chilcken tenders and the waitress asked "Would you like fries or fruit with that". he said fruit and we got a charge for $8 on the bill for the fruit. His chicken fingers came with 3 BBQ sauces on the plate (that he didn't ask for) and I was charged $2 for EACH sauce, along with $2 for each tablespoon on ranch that was brought to the table (even though an additional charge was never mentioned). We had over $20 in "sauce" charges and "extra's" that we didn't realize there was an upcharge for. Between the long wait for the food, half our table getting their food and then it taken over 40 minutes for the rest of us, the tip automatically added and all the extra charges that were never disclosed, we wont be back. Highly disappointed and do not recommend.
Let me start by saying this genuinely comes from the heart.
I ate here with my family on 12/22/25 after reviewing the menu and thinking it would be a good place to eat. Unfortunately, it was not. We ordered takeout, and the issues started immediately.
The hostess area is in a terrible location, and the entrance itself is a mess. The space is extremely small and is being used as both an entrance and an exit, which creates congestion, confusion, and an awkward first impression. It simply does not function well, especially when multiple people are coming in and out at the same time.
Beyond that, there is a significant language barrier problem. The hostesses did not speak English well enough to take a takeout order properly, which made ordering extremely difficult.
There were also eight hostesses working at once, which made no sense. This place was not busy, and even on a busy night, one or two hostesses should be more than sufficient. This level of overstaffing creates confusion rather than efficiency and is an unnecessary payroll expense.
My mom ordered food for herself and my dad. When it was my turn to order, I eventually gave up and decided not to eat there at all because they did not understand what a lettuce wrapped burger or a hamburger without a bun was. For clarity, I was asking for a burger without a bun, wrapped in lettuce to avoid the carbs. I ended up going somewhere else.
That said, I did try a bite of my dad’s turkey burger, so I know how it tasted. Burgers have a very low bar to clear, and this one did not come close. The bun was soggy, and the fries were incorrect. We ordered a large shareable sweet potato fry and received a very small handful of sweet potato fries placed into a single burger box, along with regular fries in the other box. The sweet potato fries are priced at twelve dollars, and what we received was closer to a child’s portion.
The burger itself was both overcooked and undercooked at the same time, which can happen with a lumpy, non uniform patty and improper grill temperature, whether it is a turkey burger or a regular beef burger. The patty was gray with no crust or proper sear, which indicates the grill was not hot enough. Any burger should have browning and texture on the outside. Instead, it was bland, dry in some spots, undercooked in others, and lacked flavor and structure.
My mother ordered the veggie burger, which was supposed to come with kale chips. Not only were the kale chips completely missing, but the burger itself was awful. It tasted like it came straight from the frozen section of a grocery store and was microwaved rather than properly cooked. It was extremely disappointing, especially given the price.
The pricing overall was shocking. Forty six dollars for two burgers, one of which was a veggie burger, is completely unreasonable given the quality. For that price point, expectations are much higher.
All of this said, these are actually very fixable problems. Reducing overstaffing, addressing the language barrier at the front of house, fixing the entrance and hostess area layout, correcting portion sizes, and improving basic burger execution would significantly improve the experience while also saving money. Using a more uniform patty method, proper grill heat, and adjusting prices to better match quality would go a long way toward making this a solid burger spot.
I review food for a living and keep everything anonymous. I plan to return in a few months for an updated review to see if improvements have been made. There is potential here, but significant changes are needed for this to be a place customers leave satisfied and want to return to.
