As one of the oldest surviving family pizza brands in the U.S., the Rosati name has been firmly established in the city of Chicago and its suburbs. Generations have grown up with the brand and continue to spread it to every corner of the country. Transplanted Chicagoans all over the map have helped bring their favorite pizzeria to 150+ locations across twenty states.
We tried Rosati’s tonight, and while it wasn’t bad, I didn’t feel very good afterwards. To quote the Great British Bake Off, it was not worth the calories (in my opinion). The garlic bread was the best part of our meal. The dough nuggets were a bit greasy and the
serving was way too big for our party of five—even though seating for a party of that size was limited. We tried the white pizza, the veggie pizza, and the combo pizza, all thin crust. The crust seemed overdone—too dark and hard on the edges—and I didn’t care for the flavors on anything but the white pizza. My husband did like the veggie and combo, which tasted similar. Overall, I won’t come back unless I’m with a group that wants to go there. And if I do, I would order something completely different.
We were told that it would be almost an hour wait to get deep dish pizza, which is part of why we tried the thin crust. But it still took over 50 minutes to get our order because it was so busy. It was also extremely loud inside.

Helpful hint towards the end: The pizza is really good here! We got the Meat Mania and it was super good. I like how the sausage isn’t like this tiny thing on top of the pizza. We also got chicago style deep dish pizza that was amazing!! The helpful hint is if you order the Chicago style deep dish expect to wait a bit longer than normal because it takes longer to make them. For someone that’s never order a Chicago style, it will come how it looks and the toppings you add is extra toppings. It Will automatically come with a lot of cheese and sauce on top. We liked our with sausage and sautéed spinach!!

Was so excited to get Rossatis in Orem but couldn't be more disappointed.
We loved rosatis when we lived in Chicago, but I wouldn't recommend the Orem location.
We waited an hour place for our food, and then we had to go to the front to ask where our pizza was. They hadn't even put it in the oven.
They then rushed to put it in. And brought it out 20 minutes later. We had a time crunch so just took it to go and when we got home we found out that they hadn't been put any meat on our pizza...
$44 for an 1.5 hour wait and no meat on our pizza.
Just cheese and onions and some tomatoes.

I am originally from Chicago. Born and raised.
The deep dish was great, however the crust needs a little help. Thicker on the bottom and more dense on the crust. The atmosphere is so bright in comparison to what I am used to from back home. Maybe play Chicago games on the TV instead of empty tennis courts. Lastly, ya gotta get better ranch. That was the most disappointing part for me.
I will say, for someone from Chicago, I am so happy this place exists and it was delicious. A few tweaks and you will be good to go. Anyone would be happy to eat this and experience Chicago deep dish.

Not a bad Chicago pizza place, but not what I was expecting.
The deep dish pizza was ok. Slices weren’t cut well before we got it so we had to work to cut each slice before taking a bite.
The team was nice. Nobody was mean or rude which was great. However when I asked for a to go box, a team member just gave me a completely unfolded pizza box. I then took a few minutes trying to figure out how to fold and close the box. That could be handled differently! Your boxes are unique, so maybe have the employee fold it for us?
Add some music! It’s too quiet in there. I could easily hear every conversation in the room. Add some good music to help with the vibe.
Lastly, and I know this won’t happen, but I think you could make WAY more tips if:
1. Turn this into a full service place. (Not likely, but just a suggestion).
2. Charge people AFTER they eat. While they dine, smile and be as helpful as possible. Then, have them pay after they are done. I guarantee you way more people will tip and they will leave bigger tips.
The entire ‘pre-tip’ culture drives everyone insane. “Just answer a few questions on the keypad” is awful.
