We were helping a neighbor pick up a large order - 2-3 carts, and they had it all ready for us, and were immensely helpful in getting it in the vehicle. The volunteers were amazing!

I went there a few years ago to get some food being an inactive member And volunteered and worked for the food for an hour and a half and I’m very thankful for the food that I received this recent time that I went over they were very judgmental in an interview room last time they weren’t and asked if I was working I have Social Security disability and have disabilities They said they can only give me peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, peanut butter and jelly, hot dog buns and hotdog and ketchup and that’s it when there are multi billion dollar trillion dollar church didn’t have me volunteer or anything and I am an inactive member and was judgmental that I wasn’t working. Never asked if I had a disability very discriminating I think. I think they said a long lines they don’t do volunteering anymore they need to be more open and not just jump to. Where are you working? They should ask questions. Like are you on section 8 Or what’s your income not demand that you need to Find a job then when I said, I don’t have a job and I didn’t say anything about having a disability. They should have questions like that and be more trained and people with disabilities and autism.
