I’ve came to Jamba countless times because I love their PB & Protein shake, but these last few times I’ve came to this Layton location, their customer service is horrible. Like seriously, the worst I’ve ever experienced and I’ve been to many different locations.
Every. single. Time over came here in the last few months, I barely order my first shake (I always order multiple & usually get food even) the workers are asking for my name and “is this it?” As if I’m done ordering, they don’t even give me an opportunity to finish my order. I ALWAYS get a PB & Protein and request no milk or soy and replace it with Almond milk, “is that it?” No, Can I also get extra banana? “Is that it? What’s the name on the order?” No, can I also get extra whey protein please? “Is that it? What’s the name on the order?” No, I would also like to add blueberries, multivitamins, & honey. “Is that it? What’s the name on the order?”
I would also like to order another shake, “okay which one?” And once I finished my other shakes, I didn’t even bother ordering food or bowl for my family like I usually do.
This morning I had the tall white gentleman whom I’m assuming is the manager, it’s almost like they train it, during the order taking they won’t even try to look at you. They look outside, around the room, Seems like a complete inconvenience to him. Especially as the manager, I thought there would try to be some type of upsell but I guess not. One my second shake I was going to order I kept getting “nope, we’re out of that.” And it got to the point where I just laughed and said “okay then give me a shake with berries in it then “
Once I paid, another employee showed up while he was making the shakes & they were just laughing and talking the whole time, so I know it’s possible.
Blow away by the last few experiences to say the least, especially this one with the manager. I don’t think I’ll ever be going back to this location. I should’ve got the gentleman’s name.
