For a company this large, with the resources and reputation McDonald’s has, this level of service is embarrassing. If this is the standard McDonald’s is comfortable with now, then it’s a serious problem. I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect basic competence and respect—neither of which I received. We then pulled forward to the window and waited about 15 minutes, with only one car ahead of us, only to be told they were closed. We explained that we arrived before the posted closing time and were met with the manager saying that was not their fault because they “always close a little early” since “usually no one is there waiting.” That is not acceptable. When I asked for the manager’s name, as no name badge was worn, he refused to provide it, citing “safety reasons.” Completely ridiculous. I have yet to have a single positive experience at this location.
