Just trying to be a helpful customer. I looked for a comment option in the store. Had there been an obvious qr code, I would have sent my observations that way. I've been a private shopper for companies and had I been on that errand today, I would have the same report. Bottom line, I can see that there were plenty of staff, yet they seemed very unhappy. They serve the best bagels on the planet. And the gal made a terrific drink and I told her so. They deserve to have a little more fun at work. This is usually a top down issue. Okay, Management, lift your crew. The staff was all very depressed. No happy energy. It was sad. I waited a while just to be acknowledged. I'm sure they had a lot of call in orders. It's my opinion that those IN THE STORE take priority. Obviously, they were not trained this way. It was 8am - very busy time. The chai latte was made perfectly. I made sure to compliment the worker and she lit up like she had her first drink on a long hot day. The bagel was good, obviously. The entire atmosphere including fixings felt tired.
