Drive through and the restaurant in general were busy today, and that can be understandable, being told that the jalapeño poppers would take a while to make, would I please pull forward? Sure, no problem. So 1. Wasn't given, nor offered, my receipt didn't think much about it at the time, they were busy, surely it's gonna be in the bag.... (not the first time no receipt given per visit, should have thrown an immediate red flag but here we are). 2. After 3 other orders in the drive through were served and at least 2 walk in to go orders, our food arrived with an apology and a "we'll make it right card" because they gave my food to someone else, ok well thanks for the honesty, much appreciated (ONLY reason I'm giving this many stars is the honesty). Apparently, because my original order was given away, they remade the entire order "fresh". 3. No receipt in the bag.... yes that's about to come into play now. 4. Get home, and 1 of my classic beef n' cheddar sandwiches is missing and the "made fresh" fries are definitely stale, yes I know i should have checked the bag before driving off, but sitting there almost 20 minutes with an 8 year old threatening to pee on my seats from holding it for so long rearranged my priorities a bit.
That all being said, I call the restaurant and they have the phone off the hook, this happened last time I had a no receipt/missing item as well, so it's ironic at best. Not thrilled and not sure how many more chances I'll be giving with this pattern.
