It was a great atmosphere, with live music, drinks and lots of people watching. We had the ahi tuna nachos- they were loaded with tuna and delicious! I would love to come back and stay longer! The drinks were spot on and we had a great time overall - highly recommend.

Friday our group was waiting for a table at the Handle Bar restaurant so we went to get a drink at the Ascent lounge. From the beginning it was not the standard that you would expect. Bar tender was not welcoming. Said he would be with us in a minute. When he walked away we asked another lady that was drying glasses behind the bar if we could see a menu, then he shouted back " I said I would be with you in a minute" then proceed to complain about us to a waiter standing at the bar. Completely within ear shot of us. Second trip to the bar was at night. We had reservations at the West Bank grill for valentine's day. We always go early to relax and have a drink at the bar. Went to the Ascent lounge again, different bartender same bad experience. Bartender was annoyed and put off that we wanted some drinks, and then complained that we were using 2 credit cards ( 2 couples). It was such a bad experience being that it happened twice that I felt I needed to bring it to the attention of the front desk manager. He was nice about it but still should have never happened. Dinner at the Handle Bar restaurant and West Bank grill was great.
