  This is for the meat department. At about 4:30 pm today, Saturday 08/15/26 I went to get a boneless rib eye to grill. There were none in the case so I went to the counter to get one cut. There were four guys BSing each other and I asked one of them to cut me a boneless rib eye because there were none in the case. He turned to another guy who was wrapping meat and asked for a steak. The guy grabbed one off the tray that he had just cut and wrapped it. They then gave me that steak. I said that wasn’t what I wanted because it was too thin to grill. I asked to get one cut and was told that I couldn’t get it. Why have a meat counter if you can’t get what you’re looking for? I told them I didn’t want it and wasn’t offered any opportunity to get what I wanted. Mark me down as one dissatisfied customer.

  This particular Safeway store ranks among the largest I have encountered, with the only comparable location being in Eureka, California. The staff members I encountered were amiable, and the produce section offered a wide variety of selections. All shelves were organized and fully stocked, contributing to a positive experience.

  This is for the bakery, I like Safeway I shop there often and normally.. no problems but… I ordered an cake about a week and half ago for my daughters first birthday , I had a design that I wanted that was already in the cake case, I asked if I could get that design with my daughters name saying happy birthday obviously When I go to pick the cake up yesterday I showed up and got a completely different cake then what I wanted The cake I wanted was a 2 tier and I got a single tier with the wrong design The lady who took my order didn’t help me when I went In to get the cake but stood behind another worker that was there that helped me I hesitated to take the cake , I walked off saying ok thank you then when I got to check out I decided I shouldn’t have to pay for something I don’t want and didn’t ask for…. But Pretty Disappointing I had a cute cake I wanted and got completely ignored and not only ignored the lady who took my cake order couldn’t even look me in the eyes or atleast tell me they couldn’t do what I wanted They couldn’t fix it because the cake lady left at 3pm and I picked up around 6pm I went back an got my money back Just mad because it’s my daughters 1st birthday
