  We visited Figaretti’s after my husband read that they had won a James Beard Award, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The restaurant has a small, intimate atmosphere that immediately feels welcoming. Our waitress was wonderful—she was incredibly patient with our 6-year-old’s endless enthusiasm, included him in the ordering process, and made him feel like a valued guest. We started with the appetizer combination, and every item was a hit. The meatballs were perfectly seasoned and tender, the cheese sticks were delicious dipped in the marinara, and the fried zucchini was absolutely out of this world. For our mains, we had the ravioli and the fettuccine. Both were excellent, though I was especially partial to the vodka sauce. We also tried Dino’s, which was very good as well. Dessert sealed the deal. We ordered the tiramisu and the carrot cake, and they disappeared so quickly that our waitress barely had a chance to ask if everything was okay before the plates were empty. 😂 If you’re in the area, Figaretti’s is definitely worth a visit for the warm hospitality, family-friendly service, and outstanding Italian food. Reservations recommended. They fill up quick.

  Bailey you are the best server we had tonight. The recommendation for the pork chops was spot on. This restaurant is true authentic to its root. We even met Dino one of the owners who checked on us while enjoying our dinners. It's impressive that the owner takes time out to talk with you and ask if your meal was great and it was worth the money and 4 hour drive from Toledo Ohio. We took a weekend vacation to see the Toy museum and almost heavenly swings

  Darby and Derek were amazing. We had a family of 10 and they were more than accommodating to us on a busy night. We had 5 kids and Darby made it the experience memorable for the kids and Derek took great care of us. The food was amazing. Would definitely come again if in town! Kudos to all the staff!

  My large family has eaten here several times, and I really want to like this place and support local business. But I think Figaretti's is stuck in the past. We were a table of eight seated at one of their round tables. It was terribly crowded with no room to move. They bring generous loaves of bread to the table. I don't know what kind of bread it is, it looks delicious, but is dry and tasteless. The portions of everybody's meals were more than generous. Several of us had the seafood platter special ($50). The shrimp and the scallops had no flavor. The shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. My sister complained about the fish being dry while my complaint is that it simply didn't have any seasoning, no flavor. The lobster was good. The salads were quite good and everyone raved about their blue cheese dressing. I had a bite of my sister's pork chop, and I'm quite sure it was the best thing at the table. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. The side dish of risotto was dried out and did not have a good flavor. This should have been a very creamy dish but it was anything but creamy. The lasagna looked delicious and the two people that ordered it were very happy with it. Our waitress was very good and accommodating. She was very busy but she had an annoying habit of asking a question and not waiting for the answer. We only come to Wheeling once a year, and I believe we'll skip this spot next time.

  As a native to Wheeling and Woodsdale, I’ve known of this family owned Sicilian restaurant for a long time. Recently, I have gotten accustomed to ordering carry out or DoorDash delivery. My favorites include the grilled chicken salad with balsamic and bruschetta dressings, the steak salad with the blue cheese upgraded dressing, lasagna, lobster ravioli, chicken parmigiana and the classic spaghetti with bolognese and meatball. The dessert options are out of this world — Almond cake, lemon cake, and Italian cream cake. Let me circle back to that chicken salad. Firstly the chicken is high quality chicken breast perfectly grilled and generous portions too. The salad is full of toppings and fresh romaine lettuce. My favorite dish here is the steak filet and while filet is always a higher cost cut of meat — Figaretti’s has only high quality meat— no junk fake stuff — no thin and skimpy cuts. If you love Italian food, are traveling through the Ohio Valley you need to stop by. Lunch is less crowded, Nights and weekends are busy. Worth the wait.
