Wanted to love it.. starts off very weird. Thru the old entrance of what used to be the hotel, down a long empty hallway, past 2 bathrooms, till you notice the statue of an old waiter, TUEN theres a sign pointing down another hallway. Odd, but ok. Went in, seat yourself, ok..cool.. 1st set of drinks came quick, but we never got another. In her defense, our server was SWAMPED, she was taking orders, ringing in bills and bartender at the same time. 4 or 5 parties in the dining room while we saw 1 other server taking care of a single 2 top on the patio. The food, both got the crab and corn chowder, asked for it to come first, that took close to a half hour for 2 bowls of soup. We know crab corn chowder is naturally a Lil sweet, this was OVERLY SWEET, old bay woulda been good, but we settled for adding a METRIC TON of salt and pepper to make it not taste like dessert. For 15 dollars u can get 2 "mahi" tacos and fries, you can get just 3 tacos as an app for $16, i cant have fries so I went for the app portion. Supposed to be blackened MAHI, I am 100% they served me blackened Ahi Tuna, the texture was NOT MAHI, and it tasted like tuna. Needed more cream for me but no server to be found to ask so I grinned and bared it. Wife's BLT was LOADED with bacon but some was burnt bad, and it was a simple BLT on grilled buttered Texas toast, nothing made it stand out. Presentation was GREAT on the food, taste just wasnt there.. sorry, I hate giving bad reviews but I need to be honest.
