If you’re out of something, PLEASE let the customer know before they make the trip. I have one very specific item that I order from Panera: the Four Cheese Soufflé. That's it. I don't really order anything else from here. And I cannot tell you how many times I've ordered it only to have my order canceled because it's "not available," or—what happened recently—I'm allowed to drive all the way to the restaurant, get out of my car IN THE RAIN, walk inside, stand in line, and THEN get told that it's unavailable. Seriously? What makes this even more frustrating is that the restaurant wasn't even busy. If you know an item is sold out, why allow someone to place an order for it and drive all the way there before telling them? A simple phone call, notification, or message saying, "We're out of the Four Cheese Soufflé today" would have saved me the entire trip. And honestly, I would have been completely fine with being told, "We're making more. It'll be about 10 minutes." I would have waited. I'm not unreasonable. I just need to KNOW what's going on before I waste my time driving somewhere. The other issue is the refund situation. I recently ordered through DoorDash and was charged $18.79, but when the soufflé wasn't available, I only received roughly $14 back. I'm not sure whether the difference was a DoorDash fee or something else, so I'm not necessarily blaming Panera for that part—but when an item is unavailable and the customer never receives what they paid for, the refund process should be crystal clear. And this isn't a one-time occurrence. This has happened repeatedly. I understand that restaurants run out of things. That's life. What I don't understand is why the customer has to find that out after they've already driven to the restaurant. If you know you're out of an item, please mark it unavailable. If you're making more, tell the customer and give them the option to wait. If there's a delay, communicate it. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable. I just don't want to drive somewhere, stand in line, and waste my time in the rain just to hear, "Sorry, we're out." Four Cheese Soufflé is literally the ONE thing I come here for. Please figure out how to keep track of it. 😂

Food is always good. Service also. BUT 30min for an Asian chicken salad is entirely to long. I hope this is not a trend.

I’ve been to so many Panera's over the years I have never ever seen slower service than what I see at this location today . One more person in front of me I ordered two drinks and one sandwich and I waited 16 min for that . Horrible service! By the reviews you should see the problem and tell haven’t fixed it yet

Stopped by Panera in Ranson WV Live in SC, but visited my sister and wanted to stop and grab some items to take to her house. Taking order was easy. She even repeated it back exactly as we ordered The rest was a disaster. Waited about 20 minutes for a To Go order. After posting "Our order was ready" on their scree, they continued to sort and take out items between our bag and another patron's bag. We checked our order, missing a large sandwich. We inquired and they promptly such one in the bag. Well, when we got to her house and unloaded, we were all shocked. The missing sandwich, a Fontego chicken was on the wrong type of bread and had spicy sauce all over it. And, I ordered one of their new Stuffed sandwich which wasn't in the correct bun. Just a small sandwich. The soup was barely warm. Everyone was so disappointed! Panera, get your people trained correctly!!!

Terrible experience. Firstly they were out of stock of a bunch of random ingredients which isn’t terrible, but very annoying expecting to come in for one thing, then having to change it multiple times due to ingredient constraints. I also waiting around 25 minutes for a soup and a Mac n cheese. This was an insane wait time as they were not busy, I was one of 2 people waiting. There was a bunch of staff standing around not working, while 2 employees ran around like crazy doing all of the work. The drink station was a mess with no lids, straws or napkins available and I had to ask for all of these things, the only employee around to help at that point was one of the 2 doing anything. I also got the online notification that my order was ready 10 minutes before I was actually given my food. The place wasn’t clean, and I waited almost 30 minutes for 2 sides and an empty cup. Not to mention that the soup wasn’t very warm, and the Mac n cheese had cold spots. Will not be returning to this location
