After several visits I will not longer patronize this store. The chronic parking in the fire lane which is condoned by store management is not only illegal but creating a public safety issue.. Store personnel says its been an on-going problem with no end in sight. Berkeley County Sheriff's office can argue its a private parking lot and yes it is. Store Management can hire a towing company to police the fire lane! Food Lion has an obligation to maintain minimum safety standards for both customers and employees. That includes preventing the illegal parking of vehicles in the fire lane. The Deli department leaves much to be desired. No customer service or food handling skills. You don't use a meat slicer without wiping it off after each use. The same goes for the scales. Wipe them both off after each use!!!! The store aisles are narrow enough but to keep putting the never ending standalone cardboard merchandise stands in what is left of available walking space is another example of Food Lion having no respect for its customers. The store employees seem to believe that the word 'discontinued' means Food Lion no longer carries an item a customer cannot find. When in fact the correct response is: we are temporarily out of stock of that item. Add in the chaos that exists both outside and inside this store brought on by both incompetent employees and customers alike. It tells me the store is managed with only one thing in mind; nothing else matters except the store making its numbers $$ for the month.

Smaller store, so not a lot of options. Store is clean and staff friendly!
