  Today was my first time trying this restaurant and I have to say the food was really good, but Michelle, our waitress, made the experience even better with her excellent service and attention. Highly recommend! I will back for sure! Thanks again Michelle.

  This place is awesome! I had the fish tacos and they were great! I also like how colorful the place is and the staff are all very nice, whether I dine in or take out. My favorite Mexican restaurant in this area!

  I’ve been coming here along with many family members & friends for going on 15 years.. I’m actually appalled with my visit today (8/29/26) we used a gift card to pay which covered but $7 of our total, we left extra money alongside to cover the few remaining dollars & enough for a tip as well. We were chased out in the parking lot for MORE MONEY.. claiming basically that the tip we left wasn’t enough to their liking. I’ve never once at any business experienced something like that. It’s absolutely RUDE to ask for a bigger tip. You should be appreciative that we spent money at your business & be grateful for any tip left, not ask for something more. As much as we all love this place, I will not be back after this encounter. Please be respectful of your clients who are supporting you. I hope this is a lesson learned on YOUR behalf.

  Best frozen Pina Coladas in the area! Mi Degollado Mexican Restaurant is the real deal. They serve up hot, fresh authentic Mexican dishes with very attentive staff. I ordered a taco salad and it is served with a very generous portion. There is ample parking in the parking lot. The manager walks around to everybody’s table to ensure you are enjoying your meal and have a memorable experience.

  It was our first time at Mi Degollado and we stopped by after hiking. The decor is the Mexico countryside-inspired, carved and painted wood motif that I do like because it's pretty but it's a generic aesthetic of most Mexican restaurants. The place was small but packed and that's usually a good sign. We got seated quickly and the chips and salsa came out fast. The corn chips were a little too heavy (thick chip, heavy oil) for my liking but that's just my preference. Our order was taken and the food served fast. My husband ordered Carne Asada and I had the Steak/Chicken Mix Fajita Quesadilla. My only complaint was that I expected the quesadilla to be pressed, cooked to crispy. It also had a limited amount of steak and chicken but ample amounts of grilled onions and peppers. It was tasty but not quite as filling. I usually don't have much room for the beans or rice at our "go to" Mexican restaurant (El R... in Ranson) but here, I ended up eating everything. Overall the place is nice for a small plaza restaurant and the food good but it doesn't compare to our "go to" Mexican restaurant in Ranson with outdoor seating and consistently great food.
