  We stopped here while on a trip ordered the Ultimate Italian. It came out toasted and uncut as I was splitting it with my friend but the sandwich did have plenty of meat. I prefer my sandwich unheated and I don’t like tomatoes.

  I’m a frequent flyer of JJ’s, and know their menu pretty well. Most of my experience has been at the Gaithersburg location, and I was excited about this new Charles Town location. First time I dined, my sandwich was sloppy. But that’s to be expected from new staff learning the ropes. Today, 3 months later, I was really looking forward to bringing sandwiches home for the wife and I. Ordered 2 toasted roast beef & cheddar sandwiches. Same employee behind the counter as before. Unfortunately after arriving home 10 minutes later, we unwrapped 2 abominations of sandwiches we can’t even pick up. Soaking wet, mountain of onions and sauce piled well beyond the roll. Not cut in half. Wife refused to even eat hers, mine was pure disappointment. Almost nothing like the properly portioned & made sandwich from JJ’s Gaithersburg. Waste of $20. Upper level management really needs to spend time in store to train sandwich artists how to properly portion ingredients. The quality is there otherwise.

  Food is good when the order is correct. They have messed up the orders twice now. The first time we wanted to give it another try, but this past one was REALLY wrong.

  Absolutely horrible subs. The French bread was rock hard, they hardly put any meat on the sub it was literally embarrassing. Never going back here again.

  Asked to substitute mustard in place of mayo. We got the entire jar....
