  Holy Moly, can we please get some employees in here. There's two massive lines, because there are only two cashiers with a bagger for each. They want me to stand in line behind people with FULL carts for ~30 minutes just to get one item, the hot food bar. Where the heck is the 20 items or less lane or the self service registers. This isn't new here either. It's 3pm on a Friday, but the management can't manage to get more lanes open. I see blue shirts all throughout the store, just not at the registers. I put the food back and left.

  On Sunday I went to do grocery at food lion . I had baby with. Me plus few baby snack my baby eats .After I paid the young cashier asked me why I am hiding the nokie under the blanket ? If I can spend over a hundred few thing , you think I need to steal that . Plus food lion doesn’t carry that . A gentleman behind was mad at the cashier for accusing me of stealing . This incident took place on Sunday October 4th in the afternoon . Why you hire such people ?

  This place needs to get with the times.. won't accept the virtual ID that got approved thru the DMV? Like what is this? Its about convenience and this is anything but! To ensure I was correct I contacted the DMV and it IS a valid form of ID in the state on WV on prohibited sales (alcohol and tobacco) Save yourself the wasted trip and go to Martins, they've accepted mine with zero issues.

  Food Lion takes customer service very seriously, that's why I Love this store. They have a great staff, Abbey in produce is one of my favorite employees. She's always helpful and if the shelf is empty, she doesn't hesitate to run to the cooler in the back to check if she has what I'm looking for. She also let's me know when they're getting another shipment. I'd like to acknowledge the ladies in the deli dept., because I'm a former deli manager, and I know first hand how difficult it is to work the deli. Especially when there's a big seller on sale, like rotisserie chicken, and you have to increase your production and still manage the customers at the deli counter. They always have a great attitude even when they're mobbed. Great job to everyone. You can always tell when you have a good management team running the store, because employees are happy, friendly, and go out of their way to make you feel like you matter to them. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

  Very nice grocery store , they had everything you need and then some . Very clean looking and emplyees were nice .
