It was okay, but I wasn’t exactly blown away by the food quality. The Brussels sprouts were so salty you might as well just dunk your head in the ocean and save yourself the plate charge. The Oyster Rockefeller sounded amazing on the menu, but unfortunately it left both my guests and me wondering if the chef had also just read the description instead of cooking it. The fennel and cauliflower soup was bland enough to make water seem exciting. Honestly, the bread and butter were the real stars of the night — give whoever baked that loaf a raise. If I go back, I’d probably try the elk since it wasn’t available this time around. The service, though, was genuinely great, so I can’t completely roast the place in all respect I really appreciated was how soundproof the restaurant felt from the loud gaming noise surrounding it. It made the space cozy and relaxing, even if the food itself didn’t quite win us over.

Lengthy, thorough review. Visited on a Thursday around 6pm, no reservations and didn't have a wait. Service was prompt and friendly. You're given fresh bread and water to start. The bread was perfectly baked, lightly salted and served with butter. A few select signature cocktails and mocktails available, and an extensive wine and liqour list. Prices have gone up since our last visit. There also used to be a wine flight that was no longer on the menu. Didn't make or break the evening, just pointing it out. Menu is short and sweet - a select group of options for each category. Most items are ala carte so be prepared to read your menu and ask questions if you're unsure. The Chilean Sea Bass was the star of the show. Expertly cooked. Crisp outside, buttery inside in a delicious sauce highlighted with salted tomato and delicious briney olives. The Bison steak was ordered medium but definitely came out medium rare. I didn't get a picture of the inside and the person that ordered didn't mind so no harm done. It had a nice sear, not overly seasoned and not dry. Cooked well and served with a balsamic garlic bulb which was quite lovely. The brussel sprouts were cooked well, flavorful and the pork lardons were deliciously smokey. The risotto was an absolute letdown. It was simultaneously overcooked and undercooked. It was mushy and crunchy, and lacking in any flavor. It was also topped with I assume a parmesan but it was powdered and definitely left a strange texture in every bite. The creme brulee was lovely, the custard was rich and the sugar torched perfectly. It did have a slightly excessive amount of whipped cream on it, but it did seem to be actual cream and not from a can, topped with fresh, not overly ripe strawberries. The cappuccino was fine and the shortbread were also quite enjoyable. Buttery, crunchy yet soft. All in all, dinner was enjoyable. We did not bring the issue of the risotto up because we're not people to complain or send things back. We took it home and someone will eat it, but it wasn't impressive or cooked properly like you'd expect in a high end steakhouse. Yes, it is expensive. But you can use comps and the menu is online so you can be prepared. The only other complaint is the ambiance. Some light piano or jazz would really up the experience instead of hearing casino noise and other diners whispering because there's no background noise. Before this visit it's been at least 5 years since our last visit and will likely be another while before we visit again. My 3 stars are for all the reasons above - I find Final Cut to be just ok. Not great, not bad, enjoyable but not worth writing home about.

Was there after a show at the casino. Always heard about it decided to try it. Started with the oysters Rockefeller. Under cooked and just covered with appeared to be powdered bread crumbs. Elk steak came out raw. Sent it back. It was quite good after being cooked to medium as ordered. Then a 20 minute wait for the check. The staff was very good. Atmosphere was nice. But for the price and food quality, the ale cart, menu just doesn't measure up. We won't be back.

This place was average. We were seated and waited 25 minutes with no server. I had to ask the manager who was helping us. He rectified it quickly. Food was average. Not worth the high prices. Restaurant needed a little attention to cleanliness.

My server Cassi R provided excellent service with a wonderful demeanor; I felt very welcomed and hope to have her table the next time I dine there. My food was excellently prepared and that brioche bread and honey butter...I had to fight hard not to inhale it...it was so good. I do have two critiques: 1. Ensure the steak knives are properly sharpened. My bison ribeye was perfectly prepared, but at times I had a little difficulty cutting it due to a slightly dull steak knife. 2. Please update your online menu! I did my research before arriving and knew what I wanted, to include dessert. The online menu lists an apple crumble dessert; that's what I wanted. However, when presented with the dessert menu, I was disappointed to be informed that apple crumble had been removed from the menu sometime ago, and for some unknown reason the online menu has not been updated.
