  Very disappointing experience at this cafe. Staff refused to open the outdoor umbrellas claiming the wind was too strong, even though the weather was calm and the umbrellas were clearly well secured through heavy tables and weighted bases. The waitress suggested I sit inside, but if a cafe offers outdoor seating, customers should be able to enjoy it comfortably with access to shade under normal conditions. I politely asked if I could manage the umbrella myself to avoid any inconvenience, but was told that if I opened it, she would come back and close it again. The whole interaction came across as rude and unfriendly, not just from the waitress but from the business itself. Hospitality means making customers feel welcome and comfortable, and this felt like the exact opposite. I will not be coming back and would not recommend this place to others.

  Food and atmosphere are amazing. View is gorgeous very attentive wait staff was awesome.

  Cafe Hollander did a wonderful job hosting our group! They were communicative, kind, professional, and flexible throughout the whole process. When we had a much larger number of people RSVP than anticipated, they helped navigate the change and make sure they could accomodate all of us. Our group has worked with the Lowlands Group for group events several times at both this location and Downer and they have always taking amazing care of us!

  Good menu. The food is pretty tasty for pub food. Great selection of beers and ales. Servers are attentive. Bartenders will draw you a mug of one of the beers on-tap however don't expect the bartenders to mix a specialty drink, only what's listed on the menu. Most cocktails are pre-mixed by the batch, and the liquors are basic stock. If they do make a drink to order, they shake only, no stirring. Same goes for Buckatabon across the way.
