I went to Dairy Queen today and it was the worst experience I could’ve had. We did a drive through order and we waited for at least 5-10 minutes before they even took our order. When they finally took our order, we waited at least 15 minutes before we got our food. We all got blizzards, but every one was messed up. Someone got the caramel apple cheesecake blizzard and there was a nut piece and she only had one cheesecake piece, my boyfriend got the same blizzard and there were also no cheesecake pieces. I asked for extra fudge in my blizzard and instead I got no fudge. This was terrible. They didn’t turn the blizzard upside down too, they were all runny.

Ordered online 8/23 at 7:10 for pick up at 7:23pm 3 small blizzards. Waited in drive through for 10 mins past 7:23 before we said screw it and parked to run in. Only to watch 7 drive thru people and 2 inside people who ordered after me get their food and or ice cream before I finally got my 3 blizzards which were extremely melted (see pictures above) at 8:03pm. Didn’t get offered anything for taking so long not even an apology. Worst customer service I have ever been apart of in any restaurant or fast food place. Absolutely bonkers of how things were done. Revised review and added my blizzard soup for when I got home. All 3 blizzards were soup and we live 4-5mins from town. If I could leave a zero or negative score I would.

Horrible . Way understaffed . Waited 30 mins before could even get to order desk . Ended up walking out . Some people still sitting in the drive thru and at the tables still waiting . Only one young girl literally running her ass off doing everything from what I looked like and one young kid basically doing hardly anything . Management get your shit together !!! This is the second time I've stopped there and same story . Also looked like the place hasn't been cleaned in a year . I'm glad I walked out

They seem to make everything one at a time so God help you if you need food for 4 people. Employees don't seem like they want to be there. Ice cream machine making a big mess underneath and no one cared. Trash under the counter. Floor very sticky. Ketchup dispenser empty (of course). Just order to go and wait for it. It'll be awhile but the food is good enough. Got my order wrong so may want to check before you leave.

Dairy Queen… More Like “Downright Scary” Visited: July 25, 2026 I’ve visited plenty of Dairy Queen locations over the years, but this was easily the most concerning experience I’ve ever had. The visit started with a broken drive-thru speaker. Every order had to be taken at the pickup window, which meant there was no way to estimate the wait. Whether the car in front of you was ordering one ice cream cone or several meals with desserts, everyone behind them had to wait while the entire order was taken, prepared, and paid for. Rather than sit in an unpredictable line, we decided to go inside. Honestly, that decision completely changed how I view this location. While waiting for our Blizzard, we had a clear view of the ice cream preparation area. What we witnessed made us increasingly uncomfortable. One employee used a rag to wipe the dirty floor and then immediately used that same rag to wipe the stainless steel toppings counter where the ice cream ingredients were being prepared. Watching that happen was enough to make us question the sanitation practices throughout the restaurant. The area around the ice cream station was also covered in sticky syrup and grime. The walls looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time. This wasn’t a small spill from a busy afternoon. It appeared to be the result of prolonged neglect. As we continued waiting, we noticed additional sanitation practices that left us questioning whether basic food safety procedures were being followed. When our Blizzard was finally handed to us, it was disappointing for another reason. Instead of being filled to the top, the ice cream sat roughly two inches below the lid. Considering it cost nearly $8, it felt like a significant amount was missing. Ironically, the broken drive-thru speaker gave us an opportunity to see what most customers never do. Had we stayed in our car, we probably would have driven away none the wiser. I genuinely hope the franchise owner takes a close look at this location and invests in proper training for sanitation, cleaning procedures, and product consistency. Those are fundamental expectations when serving food to the public. I rarely leave negative reviews, but cleanliness and food safety aren’t things I’m willing to overlook. Based on what we personally observed, our family won’t be returning until significant changes are made.
