Bad experience, got a turtle pecan cluster blizzard. Had a pecan with shell on it still and bit down. Not pleasant, hope I didn't Crack a tooth. When getting something with nuts there should be no shell whatsoever. If you get something without nuts you'll be fine. The service was good, and the place was clean. But biting down on a shell leaves a bad taste in my mouth about going back to DQ.

That little blonde girl that was working at 8:30 tonight 6/23/2026 needs some training on customer service and she’s been very unpleasant. The last five times we’ve been there somebody needs to train her better. She’s so rude for no reason.

I'm not one to leave reviews, but felt this needed one. I decided to take my nephew for ice cream today and ordered an Arctic float. Simply a cherry slushie with vanilla ice cream. When she handed me the drink I could tell that it was very runny but decided to taste it and give it the benefit of the doubt but it tasted like straight up unflavored soda water. It looked like the slushy part of it was not as frozen like it usually is.
When I want to return it, I said i was going to drive around to the speaker and show them what was wrong.
The one lady did offer to remake it, while the other one, with the nose ring, is repeatedly telling me how exactly an Arctic float is made and with what ingredients, which I'm well aware of.
She repeated several times, I'm just trying to find out what was wrong with it ma'am. I finally said I already told you, several times! She then said, "well why do you want another one? It's going to be the same ".
I did have another made, thank you to the woman that did that and it was fine.
Maybe next time stop talking over the customer and listen to what they're trying to tell you. It clearly was not made correctly the first time.
I think some of your workers need a little customer service training.
The other reviews should be a heads up to the owner/manager.
Good luck this dinner

My family stopped in to DQ at 8:15 at night, after our son’s graduation. There were 7 adults and 2 children. We placed our order, then went to sit down. Shortly after receiving our food/ ice cream, one of the young workers comes up to us and says” the lobby is closed, so you will have to leave out the side exit”….we were completely confused….were we supposed to leave even though we were still eating? We decided to stay and eat, when a young family of 4 walk in and the same young employee tells them “‘our lobby is closed, you can go through the drive though, and these people are here, but I am trying to get them to leave (pointing as us). At this point it was 8:30. The young employee was rude and bitchy and kept saying things under her breath to get us to leave. What restaurant kicks you out of their establishment if you are still eating?? And the website shows they are open till 9:00, not 8:30.
The customer service was awful, I have never come across such a rude employee!

I never leave bad reviews (or reviews in general) but this experience my family and I had tonight was one to share about. My family of 9 stopped in after my brother’s graduation to grab some food and ice cream. We got there around 8:15, ordered, and sat down at a table. Our ice cream came out fast, and waited for our food about 5 minutes after. Once all of the food came out, we had about 5 minutes to eat before one of the staff came up to us and said “our lobby is closed so you will need to exit through this door”. We assumed she meant after we were done eating since we were not finished with any of our food, and she did not clarify. A couple minutes later, a family came in with two kids and politely asked if they were still open serving food. The same waitress/staff member stated “No, our lobby is closed and they’re not even supposed to be in here” (insinuating my family and I) in an incredibly rude tone. As someone who has been working in (and currently working in) the food service industry for over 5 years, I find that whole interaction incredibly disrespectful. If paying customers order at a restaurant during open hours, I have always waited until they were finished eating to close down, or politely told them that our restaurant is closing, but not to rush. Just wanted to share if anyone else has an experience like this because it is not respectful and can ruin a dining experience.
