  We were here several years ago and loved it so we were looking forward to stopping here again since we were going to be in Shawano for the weekend. The restaurant is really cute inside, with a farm/country theme. The waitress was nice and friendly but service was slow. It wasn't her fault because she was spot on with everything else (taking our order, drink refills, etc). I think something got messed up in the kitchen because there were several other tables who came in after us who were getting their food before we did. When we were here previously, we had the most amazingly sinful, delicious stuffed french toast. Sadly, it's no longer on the menu. I ended up ordering the garden skillet because I had also had that in the past and it was delicious. Unfortunately, that was not my experience this time. The vegie skillet is supposed to have American fries, eggs, green peppers and mushrooms. It ended up being a 2 inch thick layer of potato (like a baked potato with no seasoning) with a sparse amount of egg, mushroom and green pepper on top and the whole thing was drowning in hollandaise sauce. The toast appeared to still be homemade but the edges were burnt. Overall, the breakfast was just...okay. If this had been my first experience here, I probably wouldn't have thought too much of it. The problem is this experience paled so much in comparison to the meals I had here a couple years ago. Either it was an off day or the food has really gone downhill. We really had been looking forward to having breakfast here but left disappointed.

  Super cute restaurant! Khloe provided excellent service and we highly recommend the broasted chicken!

  Food took a while to get out, more than normal. I refuse to give them less than 5 stars. They were apologetic. We didnt get charged for the drinks, plus they brought us a couple pieces of pie. They made it right. Plus the matre d, and server were fun to interact with. You did well. I've cooked for 200+ people, things happen, but its how you react to the obstacle. Turning issues into opportunities great job. We will be back as always...waiting for good food is fine, so is paying more. Not the case here food pricing is super affordable with what u receive. Job well done!!!

  This place has excellent food and great portions as well. Friendly staff. I am a returning customer and have brought different friends to experience the great experience. Well worth the drive

  Claire the waitress was really weird, unhelpful and blamed us for not knowing the menu despite her working there? It was our first time in. She failed to mention the portion sizes and apologized for it long after the food was already served. She made a big deal about getting the item taken off the bill, because she only checked on us when everyone else was finished eating. When she did get it taken off the bill, she blamed her manager and said “I convinced the manager to take it off.” Why would we pay for something we did not eat? Generally just an unpleasant person to be around and we hope she finds a job that better suites her personality. Food was okay. The fish I would not recommend. Prices were decent and food did come out relatively fast. If you choose to eat here or like the food here, takeout might be better.
