  May 6 Park Falls location. Walked in to be told to wait while she began messing with the drink cooler next to us. While someone finally came out to take our order, she kept dropping soda bottles all over, repeating to us to "not drink that one". Once my sub was being assembled, they opened a container of lettuce that was disgusting... the employee just stirred up the lettuce to make it look better, and added it to my sandwhich, I was appalled. Im not usually one to argue about prices but 32 dollars for 2 basic sub, with one added lettuce, and a drink cup, is approximately 7 dollars more than I spend for two full meals at Family Restruant. But once we sat down I just tried to calm down and enjoy my food, but then the woman working on the drink cooler begins cussing about their situation, which is unacceptable in a dining room. But I try to ignore her and finish my sandwhich... when I start to notice that dispite the place being empty when we arrived and the entire time weve been there, 4 tables out of like 9 are united and covered in crumbs... Used to go here weekly, Today was my last visit, I will jot be returning.

  This Subway had glow in the dark meat! This was a few years ago. This subway is not good at all. The lettuce were brown and looked bad.

  This Subway store has been on the downhill slope for quite awhile, and I hadn't been in for some time so figured I'd take a chance as it is allegedly under new management. At first glance, the place was a mess. Dirty tables despite no other customers in the restaurant. The sandwich boards were also dirty, with bits of black olives and mayo dribbled everywhere, as well as a reddish-orange film on the cutting boards. This is the surface they are using to make my sandwich -- I figured the sandwich would be on the paper wrapper, so I decided to continue as I was really hungry and there aren't many fast food choices in Park Falls! The employee who made my sandwich had gloves on but kept rubbing his nose and sniffling - first red flag. Then he dropped my sandwich meat on the dirty countertop and proceeded to pick it back up and put it on the bread. That was it for me - I told him, never mind, thanks anyway and left. Will NOT be going back to this store! I am considering making a complaint to the state health department about the lack of cleanliness in both the store and the employees. For the higher prices they've been charging for the same old sandwiches, I at LEAST expect my food to be handled properly in a clean and sanitary environment!
