I don’t think this place deserves all the negative reviews. You can tell they are trying and it’s a new location. My food has been pretty good each time I’ve gone. My issue is those front doors. I’m a young woman and struggle to open those doors. Can’t imagine how the elderly or handicapped people are able to get in this place. Also.. the leaky ceiling is extremely unsanitary in a food place. It’s dripping on peoples heads. Where is corporate? Why aren’t THEY setting their store up for success??

I love Panera. And I’m not one to write reviews.
I got a delivery. And as I took a bite into my breakfast sandwich, I noticed something odd and spit out what was in my mouth. A GIANT MOTH was in my food.
I did call. They refunded and gave me coupons. But even service on the phone was poor. While they were very sorry for what had happened, I was hung up on with zero warning. Very unfortunate.

I made a pick up order today for lunch, a whole sandwich (chicken avocado blt), a summer strawberry salad, a Pepsi, and a choc chip cookie for half off.
I arrived 10 min late, and when I went to pick up, my Pepsi had been sitting there for awhile because it was warm, watered down, and not that carbonated.
As I go to eat my sandwich, I find they're barely any avocado and it's hard as a rock because it wasn't ripe.
The bacon on my sandwich was old, crumbly, and hard to chew. Sigh.
When I went to eat my cookie, I came to find that it was dry, old, and crumbly.
There is no reason for these things to happen. None.
Food and drink should always be fresh, never old and stale. Soda should always be fresh as well and made new when the costumer arrives.
This is way too much money to be spending on food that is way under quality.
Extrememly disappointed. Don't want to return.
You all need to get food service right. That's your only job!

This is not like normal Panera’s. It’s SMALL, not a lot of space inside and looks cheap to be honest. But we love Panera and love right by this location so we were exited! But the excitement died quite quickly…there has not been one time where we have come here (it’s dead everytime) and waited an average of FORTY minutes int he drive thru for our order…and somehow they always get it wrong. ALWAYS. Now let’s talk about the food. EVEEY SINGLE TIME the food has been under cooked, sometimes not even cooked at all, and extremely bland, like not like the normal Panera food at all. Muffins-we order a muffin everytime we go and everytime the centers have been runny and undercooked. We ordered the new salad stuffers- 3 different times and the bread on the inside was wet and mushy and not cooked, the bakery has always been stale. A true and literal disaster is how I’d describe this location. Who owns this?! Who’s running this?! We now go back to the Panera in Delafield…a real Panera with real standards and that follow the traditional Panera recipes, and that know how to process and prepare orders in a timely manner. Such a disappointment for Oconomowoc and if you’re ever wondering why this location is ALWAYS empty….this is why. Absolutely TERRIBLE AND DISGUSTING AND LOW QUALITY.

I ordered my food to go via the online service. I ordered three entrées and one drink, and we pulled up to the window to pick up our order and the lady handed us just our drink and said bye. We proceeded to tell her that there was more to our order for which she had to go double check. When we were handed the rest of our order, we verified the items before we left and our bread bowl was missing for the mac & cheese. I went inside and they regretfully informed me that they were out of bread bowls, but if I wouldn’t have checked my order, they didn’t tell me that at the window. So when I went inside, they offered me either a free pastry or a large mac & cheese, but yet there was bacon on it which I did not ask for bacon. This place is kinda inconsistent. I doubt I’ll be back.
