  We went there with friends on Sunday when their Google hours said they were open. They weren’t. We tried calling the delivery line. No one answered. I didn’t want to leave a bad review about this so I messaged them privately asking why they weren’t open on time. They have not bothered to reply. I find this to be incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional. We won’t be spending money on an est that doesn’t respect its customers

  Wonderful food! Great customer service. Samosa chat was one of the best I’ve had. Paneer tikka masala could be spicier at hot, but everything was great. Best lamb around!

  Excellent food. Tried the mulligutawni soup, dal makhni, and the chicken 65. Right spice , Right heat. That’s what authentic Indian food tastes like.

  We were long time fans of this Indian Restaurant even from many years ago when it was over on Main street by the post office. We had been raving fans in the past but had experienced a bit of a lull over the last few years, just slightly disappointed with the wait for take-out or the spicy-ness adjustment for my wife's mild preferences... well, we gave it another try, and let me say unequivocally WE'RE BACK!! We dined in on a Friday and there were about 5 or 6 tables of diners at the early 6pm hour. There was also a steady take-out flow. We were greeted and seated immediately and our order taken promptly. Service was great. We enjoyed a glass of wine and ordered 3 vegetarian dishes plus a couple of garlic Naan. (We definitely took home some leftovers) We were blown away by how quickly the food came out! And the not too spicy please request on 2 out of the 3 dishes was honored satisfactorily! The rice that accompanied was perfect and the Naans amazing! What a home run! We had been away from this restaurant for a while, but are we glad that we gave it another try. We had a fabulous experience! And we're so glad because this used to be our favorite spot! Thank you Mantra! Sorry we've been away. We are going to tell all our friends how great you are! Dine in or carry out?! Either way. But it would definitely be a great place to gather a big table of friends! Sorry no photos this time. We were so hungry we tore into it before any pictures could be taken. But it is still presented royally in the silver serving bowls. It looks beautiful, smells amazing and exotic and tastes even better. If you enjoy Indian food this is the real deal!

  Mantra has quickly become one of my favorite places! My go to order is the butter chicken, rice, and garlic naan & it’s always DELICIOUS! Highly recommend. They are a gem in Oconomowoc!
