  Visiting my hometown. I had no clue this place was still here. I used to eat here in my early 20s. It was then and is now a GREAT place for breakfast. Love this spot!

  The parking is iffy, but it’s Milwaukee. The food is amazing! The eggs were perfectly cooked and the hashbrowns had the perfect texture! Their chicken dumpling soup is the classic Wisconsin diner soup. My boyfriend said their corn beef hash is unlike any he’s ever had and was amazing, full of flavor. You get a lot of “bang for your buck” in portion sizes - the “cup” of soup is more like a bowl to me!

  I stopped in for a meal around 12:30 or so. Everything was going fine until they started cleaning at about 1:30. The cleaning products were so stringent and pungent I could not finish my food. I don't think that's fair. They don't charge me less for coming at a later hour. Please do not clean until all customers are done.

  We were staying at the ambassador hotel. Lucky for us their POS system for breakfast was having an issue today. We walked a third of a block east and found Michael’s. Had a wonderful breakfast with great service and food. Definitely go to place for us.

  This diner is just down the street from the Ambassador Hotel. They offer typical diner breakfast and lunch options. The server was friendly, and the service was very fast. We did not feel rushed at all. We would stop in again if we were in the area!
