Explore offerings from DanDan on 360 E Erie St in Milwaukee, with popular dim sum, dumplings, noodles and rice, and house specialties available at this location.
The food at DanDan is delicious, especially the fried rice, and the service is good. But it was way too hot and uncomfortable inside. I think it’s much better to eat outside

I just stopped by because I was passing by and really needed to use the restroom. But the server, Ashri, told me I couldn’t. I explained that it was really urgent, but he still said no.
I completely understand, but we should also try to be humane and treat people with a little understanding.

DanDan has always been very good. We’ve been many times and have brought friends and family along with us. Quality food and great service.
It’s Americanized Asian fusion, so don’t go in expecting strict authenticity. They’re great at what they do, though. Maybe “Asian-inspired” is the better description.
We like the Mongolian Beef, my wife always enjoys the kimchi pancakes, and my parents really enjoyed their pad Thai. You really can’t go wrong with a Dan Jacobs restaurant in Milwaukee.

I was hesitant to go because of the cockroach infestation but my coworkers wanted to try to Friday lunch buffet.
The staff was incredibly rude to one of the members in our party. We learned about the mandatory 20% gratuity for the buffet because we had a party of 10 after the meal and voiced our displeasure with one of the employees sitting on her computer at the bar. Rather than being understanding she said our group 'caused an issue' for them because we had to push tables together in the back room. And that she felt a $65 tip for waiting on 10 buffet plates was absolutely reasonable.
I will not be going to dan dan again.

Visited on a trip to Milwaukee in December 2025. Though it was cold outside, the restaurant was packed. Great ambience and pretty good food.
Cumin beef slap noodles had a great cumin flavor with large pieces of beef with chewy wide noodles (like biang biang noodles from Xi’an) though a bit too salty.
Salt and pepper cod was a bit under fried - very tender inside but not as crunchy as I would like on the outside.
Service could be improved as well. Somehow the lady made a funny comment that we ordered too little for two people. We had a little leftover.
