- MCMONCERRAT CERVANTESJul 5, 20261.0This Collectivo's decor and layout was pretty, cashier that took the order was patient and kind. I usually enjoy Colectivo, but the service and cleanliness at the prospect location this Sunday afternoon were highly disappointing. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a quick meal when the cafe was not busy. Upon sitting down, we noticed the table had dried gunk on it and the surrounding floors were visibly dusty. Additionally, our overpriced tasteless microwaved burritos were fused to the mesh paper wrappers, causing the food to tear apart when opened. The main issue occurred when we accidentally spilled water on our table and floor. When we asked the counter staff for a cloth or a mop, they pointed to the dispenser and said, "Our napkins are right there." After using the paper napkins on the table, a large puddle remained on the floor. My boyfriend returned to the counter to ask for help with the floor, and the staff handed him a small rag to clean it ourselves. As a younger person who works in customer service, I am well aware of standard protocols regarding spill cleanups. The staff never offered to mop or assist, leaving a notable slipping hazard on the floor for customers to handle. Management needs to review store cleanliness and safety protocols with this shift.
