  I love this place!!! The grilled jalapeno aioli bowl is my absolute favorite!! I order like twice a month. I love having the notes left with my meals.

  Trying to get your food from here is a nightmare. I had to wait 45 minutes over my estimated pick up time and then there is no one at the counter willing to help you so you’re just left in the dark. Horrible service. I’ll never be back here.

  I waited 40minutes for my order of 1 chicken bowl It was just an orange chicken bowl. Not sure where the orange flavoring was. I got what think was a sesame sauce (it was a creamy white sauce) which wasn’t bad but they gave me such a small amount that the flavor on the whole bowl was bland (I shared a picture of the sauce container) The portion of the rice spring mix and chicken is worth the $13 but without more sauce it’s flavorless unfortunately

  I'll just say now, this is such a great spot to get takeout, I've ordered so many times its ridiculous almost. At the price you pay you are receiving an absolute massive portion. I get steak and rice and EVERY TIME it is loaded with tender steak without even having to ask. One of the best spots for takeout it Milwaukee as far as quality, service, and bang for your buck. If you order you will also probably receive a hand drawn thank you doodle! BOWLS Of Rice is AMAZING! Ps. The Jalapeño aioli SLAPS!

  I was really disappointed with my experience trying to place a large order with Bowls of Rice Milwaukee. We were hoping to support a local business after hearing so many positive things, but they were completely unwilling to work with us or offer any accommodations for a large order. What really surprised me was that we were told to place the order through DoorDash instead of their own website. Unfortunately, the scheduled ordering feature on DoorDash wasn't working, which left us with no reliable way to place the order in advance. Rather than helping us find a solution, there didn't seem to be any interest in working with us. In the end, we had to take our business elsewhere. It's unfortunate because we genuinely wanted to support a local restaurant, but the lack of flexibility and customer service made that impossible. I hope they're willing to improve their approach to larger orders in the future.
