- KKKailey KoehlerJun 8, 20261.0I ordered 6 sandwiches for our track team and after 40 minutes of waiting (which wasn’t a huge problem, as they also had to deliver them) one of the sandwiches was made without meat. The sandwich had cheese, lettuce, avocado….no turkey. I called them and explained that the sandwich didn’t have meat and that the athlete had started eating the sandwich, and we needed her to eat something while we were on a weather delay for the track meet. The Jimmy John’s employee told me that in order to get a new sandwich I would have to return the old one, that they made incorrectly. She said “we can’t just give away free food”. We were unable to wait another 40 minutes for a correctly made sub, and luckily we had lunch meat from the grocery store so the athlete could eat before she had to compete. No refund, no remake of the sandwich, and no sympathy for making the sandwich incorrectly. Instead just telling me that they can’t hand out free food.
