  Came through the drive through this morning to get drinks for my son and I on the way to school. I work at a competitive coffee shop in town and only came here because my son wanted a specific Dunkin’ drink. When I pulled up to the window I was told they would not accept my 50 dollar bill which was all I had on me. Instead of saying hey we will do it this time but from now on we won’t accept these, or saying hey they’re on us today but going forward we won’t accept these….they were incredibly rude about it. They said it was the new owners policy and when I asked for the contact information they refused and only gave me a first name. The drinks were made and then I’m assuming either thrown out or drank by the staff instead of allowing me to purchase them. The manager whom looks and acts like an unshowered ogre then proceeded to scream bye out the window to me as I was telling my son sorry you can’t get your drink today I guess and made him cry on the way to school. She should be fired for her incredibly unprofessional behavior and lack of basic customer service skills.

  I genuinely don’t come on here to write bad reviews, yet here I am. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with this place, but I was just in utter shock after this experience. I was upset about how I was treated. I ordered two separate orders for me and my sister. I had a medium iced MATCHA, that’s it. She ordered a large iced CARAMEL macchiato with avocado toast, a strawberry donut, and one other thing I forgot. When I went to the window, they handed me the wrong drink. They must have misheard me at the speaker, but I asked for a MATCHA, not a regular macchiato. So, the order charged me for a regular macchiato and her a caramel macchiato with her food. While at the window, this guy seemed mentally not in the right mind or woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I was doing nothing but being nice and trying to get my order figured out to see what was wrong. Sometime during explaining the issue to him, he shut the window and said, “I am not dealing with this BS right now.” I was just in such shock at how rudely he spoke to us when we were just trying to get our order fixed. I, too, have worked a BASIC customer service job and would never ever speak to someone that way, even if they had an attitude. It takes me a lot to get mad but when I tell you I was pissed after this experience. The disbelief I felt at how he spoke to me was unreal. I never got his name, which I should have. I never confronted him either, which I also should have done. So in the end, they ended up making my matcha, which was fine. His lack of communication skills and continuously walking away pissed when I was trying to explain what went wrong is what made them in the wrong. They also forgot to give my sister her strawberry donut which was on her receipt. So they messed up her order as well. We did not even bother to go back and grab her donut because of how impatient and rude the guy was. I hope if he sees this review, he learns to slow down and take a deep breath.
