This place is amazing! I’m glad I found a place as good as this! From the second I walked in I was impressed. To start with, the menu is amazing. I went with a simple cheeseburger with fries and a drink. But on the way out I got a turtle sundae to take home for my wife. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and everything was clean. I’ll definitely be going back there!

This place has become much, much worse under the new ownership. I went through the drive-thru and had a very disappointing experience. Since the restaurant changed ownership, the customer experience has gone downhill sharply. They now add a 4% charge for credit card payments, which was not something the previous owner did. They also appear to be using a new card machine. When the employee handed me the device to sign, I saw her press the 20% tip button before handing it to me. Why would an employee select the tip amount for the customer? That should be my choice, not something selected for me. I changed it back to 0%, but that was not a clear option on the main screen and I had to navigate around to remove the tip. The food was also bad. I ordered a patty melt and fries. The patty melt was below average, the rye bread was borderline burnt, and the fries were cold. The only thing they managed to get right was pouring the soda. For a drive-thru order, I do not think it is reasonable to expect a 20% tip just for handing over a bag, especially when the food is cold and below average. The whole interaction felt pushy and dishonest. What was once a landmark for families in our community is now just another restaurant that, at this rate, may not be around much longer. I do not plan to return.

It's too bad we cannot get the regular chicken tenders unless we order the kids meal 🫤

Have not been to Roberts in a very long time. It was afternoon, and we hadn't eaten yet. We were hungry! Food: We got the Bacon Cheeseburger, Junior Cheeseburger, and a side combo of fries and onion rings. They make the burgers to order, so they took a while, but they were fresh and hot when they arrived. The patty was cooked to about medium, which was okay, but for a smashburger, it would have been better to leave it on the grill a bit longer to develop those nice crispy, lacy edges. The additional lettuce, tomato, and onion were generously portioned and fresh. Service: The staff was super friendly. The person who took our order was cheerful, helpful, and professional. Atmosphere: When first driving into the lot, what you notice is a very uncared-for, weedy front patio area. It's not very inviting, and nobody was sitting there. The parking lot pavement could use some refreshing as well. Overall, the exterior is a bit depressing. Inside, however, the restaurant is well lit, clean, and has a friendly atmosphere. You could tell there were lots of regulars catching up with friends and having pleasant conversations. Glad we stopped in.

Been here a few times and the first thing I’d say is definitely overpriced. Very high priced and then a 4% charge for using a card. Only two cars ahead of us on the drive through and still our burger, wrap, and fries took 20 minutes. Pictured is the fries that although good, very similar to McDonald’s, cost $4 and considered a “large”. Gyro wrap was good but not great. Burgers are good but again not great. Not worth how expensive it is for “fast food”. A decent place just much better options around for same quality food at a much better price (and quicker).
